Prairie du Chien Masonic Lodge No. 8 presented a state-of-the-art Fire Suppression Tool (FST) to the Fennimore Police Department last month at the Fennimore Municipal Building. The donation underscores the relationship Prairie du Chien has with nearby Fennimore – and the Lodge’s desire to make a positive difference throughout their entire region.

Oftentimes, in rural areas of the state, the first responders to arrive on the scene of a fire can be the local police department. Having a firefighting tool such as this Fire Suppression Tool in the trunk of their squad car to be used on an early fire can make the structure safer to enter and the overall fire much less dangerous for firefighters when they arrive.
