La Crosse Masonic Lodge Makes $6,000 Community Impact!

The Brothers of La Crosse Masonic Lodge recently provided three checks of $2,000 each to worthy and well-qualified charitable organizations in their area.

WAFER is the largest food pantry serving La Crosse. WAFER’s mission is to provide food and work to eliminate hunger. WAFER provides 3-4 day’s worth of groceries to anyone in the greater La Crosse area. WAFER is funded entirely by donations. This donation provided thousands of meals for people in the La Crosse area.

The Parenting Place is a place for all who care for young children. Their resources prepare, strengthen, and support parents and caregivers by creating greater understanding of the impact they have on the lives of children in their care. Through such increased understanding, children will have a positive, supportive, and loving start in life. The Parenting Place’s parent education and support programs are available to any parent or other caregiver of children FREE of charge. They serve the greater La Crosse area.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a national organization, is a group of volunteers dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need. The organization has grown steadily over time, and we’re working on opening more chapters in different states to serve more people. The Lodge donated to the local La Crosse chapter. Their donation will help build at least 8 bunk beds.
