Freemasons and PetSmart partner up for kids’ smiles

District 1 Masons donated approximately 30 stuffed animals to the pediatric department nurses at Essentia Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota.

The stuffed animals were donated by PetSmart and distributed by Freemasons of Wisconsin. This is the second year of the project. Brother Pete Berkland from Landmark Freemasons Lodge (No. 244) in Frederick facilitated and coordinated the event.

Approximately 30 stuffed animals were also donated to Becky from the St. Lukes’s Foundation, those animals will be used for the pediatric department along with other departments including the blood draw for children.

DR Kevin Fischer and District 1 Deputy Danny L. Bourassa present the stuffed animals to St. Luke’s.

Thank you again so much Brother Berkland and Pet Smart for allowing DR Kevin Fischer and District 1 Deputy Danny L. Bourassa to provide this service.
