Three Crivitz Freemasons attended a fundraiser for Healing Patriots on February 2nd and presented a check from their Lodge for $500.00. The two day event was held at the Drees Community Center in Peshtigo.
Healing Patriots is a nonprofit group of volunteers dedicated to helping veterans and first responders open up about their struggles with PTSD and their mental health issues resulting from trauma received from their jobs. They take their clients fishing, but they admit it’s less about catching fish and more about beginning a conversation about what they’ve experienced and how to express what they’re feeling.
