Two State Patrol “Emergency Jump Kits” Presented by Freemasons in Tomah

By Rich Rygh

Two “Emergency Jump Kits” were presented to officers Sam Footer and Christopher Czarnik of the Wisconsin State Patrol preceding the Tom Tourville Interstate Table Lodge on March 9th, at the Tomah Masonic Center. Each kit contains a fire suppression tool and an AED Defibrillator.

The goal is to place a kit in every State Patrol car in the state of Wisconsin. In rural areas, State Patrol Officers are often the first on the scene of an emergency.

Currently, Wisconsin Freemasons have put 60 units in circulation: 57 from the initial push last year, two from the Tom Tourville Table Lodge in District 5 on March 9th, and one from Manawa Lodge to be handed out at the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters game June 22nd. There will also be a presentation at the Oregon Area First Responders Honors event on August 25, sponsored by Oregon Lodge No. 151.
