District 7 holds Trivia Night, Beer Brewing Contest

District 7 Deputy Ryan A. Mayrand hosted the first District 7 Masonic Trivia Night & Brewing Contest at the Wisconsin Masonic Center on April 17. The Brothers enjoyed beer and pizza during the evening. 

Brothers Jim McGuigan and Napoleon Sneed-Janczak of Silas H. Shepherd Lodge #1843 managed and judged the Trivia Contest. There were four teams competing.

Brother Michael Thumm furnished a homemade brew, Dunkel Weiss, brewed by he and FC Justin Martinez. 

Brother Napoleon Sneed-Janczak gave a talk on Silas H. Shepherd Lodge, what they are and what the do. They do a lot of traveling putting on programs on Masonic history and education.

Brother McGuigan gave the history of the 9 o’clock Toast beginning during the Covid lockdown. 

Everyone agreed it was a very fun evening and they are looking forward to next year.

Deputy Grand Master Thomas W. Stevens highlighted the upcoming Annual Communication and the fun evening planned for the banquet. He stressed the importance of education on membership retention.
