Owen Masonic Lodge showed its Masonic pride on June 16th with a float in the annual Village of Withee’s Community Days parade.
The Square and Compasses, constructed by Brother Jim Oehler years ago, rode proudly in the back of the truck. Brothers Leslie Craven and Frank Olszewski riding on the “Pontoon Lounger” are 90 plus years old. The younger brethren and their wives and children handed out candy to the eager spectators on the sidelines.
The Brethren were all sporting new Masonic blue shirts and black caps and the families wore blue T-shirts, all having the Masonic logo on them. Great advertising and fun was had by all.
