One of the most important lessons that Masons learn when we take our very first steps into the Fraternity is the practice of charity. Charity to our Brothers, our families and our communities through ‘Acts of Kindness’ that make a difference in the lives of everyone.
For nearly a Century, The Wisconsin Masonic Foundation has been a meaningful tool for our ‘Acts of Kindness. The effects of this work has touched all of us in very dramatic ways. Look around you. Chances are very good that you will find that the AED defibrillator in your high school has been donated through the Foundation and your local Blue Lodge. Ask your area First Response team about ‘Acts of Kindness’ and they most likely will mention the yellow jump kit provided through the program.
You and everyone in Wisconsin’s Masonic Family can take great pride in the many ‘Acts of Kindness’ that go on every day because of our support of this vital Foundation program.
Most Worshipful Grand Master Tom Stevens is personally calling on you to step up and help raise $150,000 this year to provide 50 more of the yellow jump kits containing a defibrillator and a fire suppression tool. It’s a lofty goal but we can do it and there are a lot of people counting on us! No matter how you choose to do it, your support will go a long way toward making this major ‘Act of Kindness’ a reality.
