Glenn L Humphrey Lodge presented a program for Three Pillars residents, and staff on September 30th, entitled: “Who the Masons Are and What They Do“.
A very informative panel consisted of: PGM Alan E. Iding, spoke on Early History. Brother Frank McKenna, PM, spoke on Glenn L. Humphrey Lodge. Brother Gary Beier brought the group up-to-date on the charitable arm of Wisconsin Freemasonry, the Wisconsin Masonic Foundation. Dawn Jones also provided background on the Order of Eastern Star.
A question and answer session followed with the residents and guests. Those in attendance had very favorable comments – with those in attendance feeling they left with a better understanding of what Wisconsin Freemasons do and how we positively effect the communities in which we serve. They were especially impressed with our support of first responders across the state, especially our State Patrol “Emergency Jump Bag” initiative to get a fire suppression tool and AED defibrillator in the trunk of every State Patrol emergency vehicle in the entire state.
Thank you to all the Brothers who participated to make this educational and informational gathering a success!
