Freemasons from Morning Star Masonic Lodge (No. 10) in Beloit hosted their 14th annual Free Thanksgiving Day Meal on Thanksgiving Day, co-sponsored by The Overflowing Cup, Dwelling Angels, Cupcake Lady and Team Motivator.
The Overflowing Cup is a ministry that was started over four decades ago by Dave and Pat Fogderud with a mission of outreach to the people in Beloit — and serves an area that reaches from Madison and Southern Wisconsin to Rockford and Northern Illinois.
The event was held at the Beloit Masonic Center. Forty turkeys served 236 dine-in meals, 258 take out meals and 270 meals were delivered for a total of 764 meals served on Thanksgiving Day!
