On December 2, 2024 — also known as “Giving Tuesday” — Eau Claire Freemasons Lodge (No. 112) delivered an Emergency Jump Bag to the State Patrol Headquarter Office in Eau Claire. Emergency Jump Bags are a life-saving kit that includes an AED (automated external defibrillator) and a FST (fire suppression tool).
Officer Ryan Roth, who is EMT certified received the bag from Master Jay Gebert; along with Dustin Larson, Chaplain; Dan Ploenzke, Senior Warden; and Steve Lasure, Past Master of Sanctuary Lodge (No. 347) and soon to be Eau Claire Lodge’s Senior Deacon.
The State Patrol was very appreciative of the gift knowing this will save lives. Ryan said he will no longer have to wait for an emergency response from either fire department or ambulance on a scene that may require use of an AED.
