Freemasons of Acacia-Itasca Masonic Lodge in Superior traveled to Gordon Good Neighbor Days in July to hold a pancake breakfast for the community. For the second year in a row, the breakfast was a smashing success with over 300 people joining Acacia-Itasca for pancakes, sausage, and real maple syrup.
With the funds raised at that breakfast, the Brothers of the Lodge — along with the Wisconsin Masonic Foundation’s “Acts of Kindness” matching grants program — presented a check for $2000 to the Gordon Fire Department. The donation was a thank you to our first responders and also to help build community awareness of the Freemasons of Wisconsin and support the Gordon Good Neighbor Days and the Gordon Fire Department. Serving our local area and giving back makes us “Proud to be a Freemason.”
