Seventy-eight Leadership Team members, Brothers from the area and their ladies met Saturday morning at 8 a.m. to volunteer at three places in the area. District 4 Deputy Christopher “Skipper” Young arranged for the group to assist with operations at Paul’s Pantry, The Community Benefit Tree and the NEW Zoo from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
District 7 Deputy Ryan A. Mayrand led 20 volunteers at the Community Benefit Tree, a Kaukauna-based organization empowering families to effectively navigate medical debt by encompassing finances, fundraising, education, resources, and spiritual well-being. They were amazed to learn that the organization services families all across Wisconsin and do so with only a staff of four people!

The Community Benefit Tree needed help sorting donations, cleaning, breaking down and disposing of some tables, and packing winter backpacks for children. Backpacks were stuffed with coloring books, blankets, hats, mittens and lip balm. When they ran out of blankets, some generous members of the team ran out to the store to purchase enough to finish all of the backpacks.
This was Brotherly Love in action!
