The Valley of Milwaukee was again a sponsor for the Variety Club of Wisconsin Family Swim Day held on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Springs Water Park in the Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee. Variety Wisconsin, also known as the Children’s Charity of Wisconsin, provides life-enriching services to children with special needs. In 2005, our Valley was blessed with a wonderful bequest from Brother Herbert Schmidt with funds earmarked to use to bene昀t children with special needs (the “Schmidt Fund”). This is the fourth year our Valley has sponsored Variety’s Swim Day thanks to the generosity of the Schmidt Fund created from Brother Schmidt’s bequest.

Over 200 Variety kids and their families took part in this year’s Swim Day. Smiles were everywhere as kids in the Variety program and their families enjoyed the ability to splash and slide indoors on a cold February afternoon.
