Damascus Freemasons donate $4,000 to Job’s Daughters

Damascus Lodge Freemasons heard the request for help, and we answered!

Bethel No. 6 made a request to Damascus Lodge No. 290, and our philanthropic committee for help with their trip to Supreme Session this summer. The travel expense alone was more than they had in their entire budget.

We asked the “Jobies” to give a presentation at Lodge and explain to us all what Supreme Session is and why its important. Bethel 6 came to Lodge in March and gave a wonderful talk about what Supreme Session is, as well as the classes, meetings and fellowship activities that are planned for girls from all around the world.

It was then our pleasure to present Job’s Daughters Bethel No. 6 with a check for $4,000 to cover their travel. These young ladies of the Bethel surprised us with having the Grand Bethel Honored Queen Aaikka Niemi come visit with us as well as Miss International Job’s Daughters Olivia Halpin from Australia. We are proud of “our girls” and can’t wait to hear about their trip!
