On Thursday, May 1, 2025, Marquette University awarded Navy ROTC Midshipmen Henry Dalmann the Scottsh Rite Americanism Award at its annual ROTC awards ceremony. Valley of Milwaukee Brother Eric Falkner, himself a proud product of Marquette’s ROTC program, had the honor of presenting Midshipmen Dalmann with this prestigious award.
Devotion to Country and Service to Humanity are two of Scottish Rite’s six Core Values. The Americanism Award recognizes second- and third-year cadets enrolled in the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) who are outstanding in their class academically and in character. Three recognitions were awarded: a certificate suitable for framing; a medal engraved with the Scotish Rite double-headed eagle, ROTC Education, and Americanism; and a ribbon to wear along with the medal when wearing the ROTC uniform.
Congratulations Midshipman Dalmann on receiving this prestigious award – and thanks to Brother Eric for making the presentation!
