Dousman Masonic Lodge Re-dedicates 100 Year old Building

The Wisconsin Freemasonry Leadership Team was blessed and fortunate to be invited to re-dedicate Dousman Masonic Lodge’s beautiful 100 year-old building on August 10th.

Dousman Masonic Center, dedicated in 1925 – note the beautiful brickwork on the building’s facade

The Lodge was chartered June 13, 1917 and for the first eight years, met in a multilevel structure across the street while the building was being built. The original members included many successful area businessmen and farmers – including Brother Dousman, the area’s namesake, himself.

Grand Master Jeffrey S. Schoenfeldt prepares to re-dedicate the building as Junior Grand Deacon Michael A. Burnham and Senior Grand Steward Ryan A. Mayrand uncover the Lodge. On left is Deputy Grand Master Joseph E. Thompson.

The Lodge has implemented a series of plans – a 1 year plan, a 3 year plan, and a 5 year plan – to ensure the Lodge building is well-maintained. The recent work done looked very impressive!
