Onalaska Freemasons Ring Christmas Bells

Freemasons from Onalaska Lodge (No. 214) gave holiday donations a major boost the weekend of December 6, as members took part in the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign.

Brothers of the Lodge took shifts throughout the day and rang bells from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Onalaska. They will be matching every dollar donated during their shift up to $2,000 with $1,000.00 coming from the Lodge and $1,000.00 from the Wisconsin Masonic Foundation.

According to the Major at Salvation Army, “This is a very good time of year to help as cold weather brings a whole lot more mouths to feed and people looking for a warm bed.”
