The Brothers of James M. Hays Lodge No. 331 traveled to Damascus Masonic Lodge No. 290 on March 10 to present them their award for being the top contributor to this year’s Hays-District 12 Toys-for-Tots Donation Challenge.
Damascus provided $5,000 of the $34,000 raised in 2025 and in addition to receiving the trophy, they were first provided a meal of Smoked BBQ meats and all the fixins prepared and served by the Hays Boys.
Pictured above, Master Mike Cornell of Damascus No. 290 holds the Hays-District 12 Toys-for-Tots traveling trophy while Senior Warden Karl Cleppe of James M. Hays No. 331 displays the permanent trophy awarded to Damascus No. 290.
Thank you to the Brothers of Damascus — and all in the Fraternity — for your contributions. Remember, “It’s all about the kids!”
