By Brother Bryce L. Fransway, District 2 Deputy
A huge thank you to all who attended and assisted with the D2 Day of Light on March 21! It was a massive success, with a total of 16 new Master Masons raised from across Northwestern Wisconsin. The day was made even better by the great turnout and the excellent degree work performed. District 1 joined us to perform the EA degree, and combined D1 and D2 teams provided the FC and MM degrees. DD Danny Bourassa and his crew from D1 did an amazing job and we always look forward to your assistance in making the day a success.
We were also fortunate to have the Chippewa Valley DeMolay chapter provide a delicious pancake breakfast and lunch. Many thanks to those young men and their advisors for their help keeping our bellies full. We would be remiss if we did not mention the amazing mentors for our new Brothers that took time out of their busy schedules to give back to the craft and support our new Brothers, you all are what make this fraternity the greatest on Earth!
Finally, a special thank you to Brother Les Paulson, our D2 District Lecturer, for organizing the degree teams and keeping everything on track. We could not have done it without you, Les! If you see Les around give him a big pat on the back for a job well done!
Join me in welcoming our new Brothers!
