Glenn L. Humphrey Freemasons hold Ladies Recognition Breakfast

Glenn L. Humphrey Freemasons Lodge hosted its annual “Ladies Recognition Breakfast” to honor and celebrate the women who enrich our lives on May 16. The breakfast reflected the values we hold dear — charity, integrity, and care for one another — which are demonstrated every day by the women gathered at Three Pillars Village on the Square.

Guests enjoyed a wonderful buffet breakfast prepared by Executive Chef Shawn Kolo and the kitchen staff.

The keynote speaker was Kelly Miller, Director of Philanthropy for Shriners Children’s Chicago. In this role, she builds strategic partnerships, fosters meaningful donor relationships, and strengthens community connections that help expand programs and support families throughout the Shriners Chicago system. Her commitment to this work is deeply personal. As the proud parent of a former Shriners International Patient Ambassador, she has experienced firsthand the journey many children and families face. That experience has shaped her empathy, deepened her gratitude, and strengthened her lifelong dedication to the mission.

At the close of the presentation, Master Larry Nines presented Kelly with a $500 check for Shriners Children’s Hospital, funded by Lodge members and the Act of Kindness program.
