Waucoma Lodge’s 99th Annual Oyster Stew Dinner

Brethren celebrated Waucoma Lodge’s 99th Oyster Stew Dinner on May 18 in the building the Lodge purchased in 1864 in Cooksville with the original deed dating back to 1846. At one time a general store occupied the downstairs. Pictured above, Brother Duane Huber served up the oyster stew he prepared for the evening — Brother Duane was also celebrating his 89th birthday that day!

Members of the Wisconsin Leadership Team from left: Junior Grand Deacon Michael A. Burnham, Senior Grand Steward Ryan A. Mayrand, District 9 Deputy Patrick J. Garvin, Grand Master Jeffrey S. Schoenfeldt, Junior Grand Steward Paul A. Larson and Deputy Grand Master Joseph E. Thompson enjoy the evening.

Brothers from around the state attend this annual event which began in 1927. It always proves to be an evening of good conversation and fellowship.

PGMs Davey L. White Jr., and Dr. John W. Wilke also attended and enjoyed dinner and conversation.
