By Roger Wolski

The Brethren of Smith Lodge No. 31 enjoyed a beautiful day on the links July 10 as they hosted their third annual golf outing at the Monroe Golf Course.

Brother Tom Thompson sizes up his shot with Chance Crowther, Mike Swenson and Eric Collins.

More importantly, the event brought the community together to support a cause that will benefit local students for years to come.

DD8 Daniel Wohlfert, Brother Ron Boeck, Grand Master Joe Thompson and Past Grand Master David Ritchie.

With the support of 26 corporate sponsors and 28 golfers, this year’s outing raised more than $2,500 for the Monroe High School Masonic Scholarship.

Smith Lodge No. 31 extends its sincere appreciation to the sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the outing such a success.

Their generosity and support will have a lasting impact on the lives of local students, making this year’s event a hole-in-one for both the Lodge and the Monroe community!

A hole in one! Devon Boeck had a hole in one on the sixteenth hole.
