We are proud to announce that the Wisconsin Freemasons are continuing to support and be part of the All Star Soccer Games for the State of Wisconsin. Working with the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association we have been a part of this program for over 35 years.
We are the Key sponsor. The WSCA/Masonic All Star Soccer camp and games are held every July. This year’s events were held on July 24 and 25. The Square and compasses are proudly displayed on the player’s jerseys.
The Masons of Wisconsin also provide a picnic dinner for the All-Stars, their families, coaches and volunteers on Friday night. We served pulled chicken, Italian Beet, hotdogs, au gratin potatoes and watermelon to about 200 people. No All-Star picnic would be complete without very popular Strawberry Banana Smoothies. There was a nice turnout of Masons to assist with the cookout and make smoothies. They were all dressed in Masonic apparel to show our pride in being Freemasons. Pictured above is the “Masonic Meal Team” from left: District 9 Deputy Pat Garvin, Guillermo Gomez, Brandon Lewis, Kenneth Edwards, District 7 Deputy Kevin Gruber, Master Chef David Tainter and DR Demetrius Buchanan.
What great exposure for our fraternity. Thank you to the Brothers who helped, what a great group of Brothers getting together to do good work!
