Freemasons from Blue Hills Lodge No. 234 were proud to support the Rice Lake School District’s “School Snack Program” again in 2025-26. Together with the Wisconsin Masonic Foundation and the Grand Lodge of Wisconsin, they were able to donate $1500 towards the nutritional needs of school district students. The Lodge funds the support with money raised through their “Meal With A Peel” dinner held each fall with matching funds from the Masonic Foundation’s “Acts of Kindness” program. The Brothers of Blue Hills Masonic Lodge (No. 234) in Rice Lake – along with their ladies – held the 3rd Annual Meal With A Peel, a loaded potato dinner for their friends from Rice Lake and surrounding communities on October 27. The Brothers of Blue Hills Lodge in Rice Lake — along with support from the Wisconsin Masonic Foundation’s “Acts of Kindness” program — were able to give the Rice Lake Middle School Bowling Team a $500 donation for the second year in a row. Rice Lake Freemasons from Blue Hills Lodge (No. 234) recently held their second annual “Meal with a Peel” Potato Dinner Fundraiser. The Brothers successfully served 184 meals exceeding last year’s total of 180. This meal raised $2,839.23 net surpassing 2023 and will be used for community activities as well as general operating needs. This is a huge need for RLASD as there are many children who are unable to bring a midday snack with them to school.
