Brother Dan Boerboon, Master of Clear Lake Freemasons Lodge (No. 230), is pictured above with nine young hunters and two hunter safety instructors Jeff Pittman and Bob Stoeberl. Freemasons from Clear Lake Lodge paid the Hunter Safety Course fees for the entire group. Students taking the course were Emma Colegrove, Miles Morrissey, Henry Munson, Nathan Munson, Mark Munson, Lila Munson, Sterling Ramis, William Sanftner and Aaron Tilseth. For the past few years, Christmas trees have been purchased by Clear Lake Freemasons and sold by Clear Lake True Value following Thanksgiving Day. This year, transportation of the freshly-harvested conifers was also provided by Clear Lake True Value. Trees are sold at a discounted price — and any “profit” realized is, in turn, donated by the Masons to the local communities. This year, 50 trees were collected for holiday sales. Freemasons from Clear Lake Lodge (No. 230) held a “Quilts of Valor” presentation for two of their Brothers — as well as a spouse — on the evening of November 18th. Presenters were Ms. Kathy Krug (local Quilts of Valor Representative) and Ms. Karen Demaree (Quilts of Valor Regional Representative). The presentation of the beautiful quilts along with quilt holders and certificates was both moving and informative. Freemasons from Clear Lake Lodge (No. 230) recently contributed $500 to assist with medical expenses of Sloan Picknell. Sloan was born March 29, 2024 and underwent a seven hour high risk surgery on April 1, 2024 for removal of a sacrococcygeal teratoma. The teratoma measured 27×16.7×5.8cm weighing just over 5 pounds. Sloan was in the NICU in Rochester recovering and growing for 47 days, since she was premature. Though she’s made a great recovery, she will have lifelong follow ups watching

By PGM Gary L. Stang District Two Outpost Breakfast Club is seen above having breakfast with Brother Vern Englbretson who is in hospice care. His daughter, Julie and an employee from the nursing home brought Brother Vern to the restaurant to visit with his Brothers. Everyone had a great time. Brother Vern is a member of Clear Lake Freemasons Lodge No. 230. There was a good turn out of Brothers: 11, including Vern, and everyone really enjoyed a great breakfast
