Submitted by DR Kevin Fischer  Freemasons from Landmark Lodge (No. 244) in Iron River along with Pet Smart donated stuffed animals to make Christmas in children’s ICUs a little brighter. Needing assistance in distributing the animals, the District 1 Leadership Team stepped up to distribute animals on December 15 to Tamarack Health Ashland Medical Center – Pediatric Unit in Ashland, Wisconsin; and on December 18 to Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center – Pediatric ICU and Aspirus St. Luke’s Medical Center

Frederic Freemasons distribute stuffed animals

Freemasons from Landmark Lodge in Frederic distributed stuffed animals donated by PetSmart of Duluth to Pediatric Units at Aspirus Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota, Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center Hospital and Shriners Healthcare Twin Cities. The District 1 Team, Senior Grand Steward George T. Eisenmann III, DR Kevin Fischer and District 1 Deputy Danny Bourassa presented the stuffed animals, which will be sure to brighten up a sick child’s day and hopefully bring a smile to their face!
