Oregon Masons Partner with Fire Department to Host Easter Egg Hunt

A huge crowd turned out for an Easter Egg Hunt hosted by the Oregon Lodge and Oregon Fire Department on April 8th. In fact, the photo above represents less than a quarter of all the total participants! There were four different age groups who gathered up over 4,500 eggs in 15 minutes. Parents and kids had a lot of fun and it was a great way to bring the community together and partner with their local first responders. The event

Oregon Lodge Presents Rescue “Manikins” to 3 Area Fire Departments

The Freemasons of Oregon Lodge No. 151 presented three Rescue Randy Manikins, one each, to the Oregon, Verona and Brooklyn Fire Departments. The Rescue Randy Manikin is about 5’5” tall and weighs about 165 lbs. and is especially designed for rescue and first responder training exercises. It is developed for life-like patient handling, transportation, and extrication training. It can be seated in an automobile, positioned in a smoke-filled room and can be used for simulating the removal of victims from
