Brothers receive Quilts of Valor 

The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. It is a nonprofit national organization founded in 2003 by Catherine Roberts whose son was deployed in Iraq. The quilt is meant for healing and comfort and to thank veterans for their service. This is the 20th anniversary of Quilts of Valor, and they are working toward a goal of having presented over 500,000 quilts.

As we reported last month, Brothers of Keith D. Chamberlain Masonic Lodge No. 66 in Richland Center hosted a Brat Stand fundraiser in their community to raise money for Lisa Christianson, who is the wife of Brother Richard Spencer, the Secretary of Franklin Masonic Lodge No. 16 in Lone Rock, for her expenses during her cancer battle. Richland Center Freemasons Raise Funds for Brother’s Wife

This past weekend, a Brat Stand fundraiser was sponsored by the Brothers of Keith D. Chamberlain Masonic Lodge in Richland Center. It was a beautiful day for a brat stand, and the Brothers were set up early and ready to serve. The stand was set up outside of Archie Monuments & Stone, a well-known business on Main Street in Richland Center operated by Brother Jim Jewell and his lovely Lady, Shirley.
