Reedsburg Masons Prepare Hundreds of Chicken Pies

Brothers, ladies and friends gathered on March 2nd at the Reedsburg VFW building to prepare the “Famous All-Meat Chicken Pies” for Reedsburg Masonic Lodge’s annual Chicken Pie sales event. Above, the kitchen crew, Brothers Bob Anderson (left) and DL Ken Walter, proudly wear their Masonic t-shirts as they prepare the gravy, which is the secret to chicken pie’s great taste!

A huge group gathered to make the pies. It was a great day of fellowship, a great lunch and a good time.

Reedsburg Masonic Lodge Master Kevin Schumann loads the pies for the quick freezing.

Buyers picked up the pies on March 3rd through a fast and easy drive through service. The Brothers typically make around 2,000 pies each year and, due to demand because they are so tasty, completely sell out within days!

Proceeds support their local Reedsburg community, including scholarships for high school seniors, the Boys and Girls Club, Police, Fire, and EMS, their annual Senior Citizen Thanksgiving Meal and more!
