12th Annual Tom Tourville Interstate Table Lodge

Brothers from Frontier-Badger Freemasons Lodge No. 45, La Crosse, delivered a Fire Suppression Tool (FST) to the Holmen Area Fire Department on February 1st. Sheboygan Freemasons raise $1,500 for Rainbow Kids

Sheboygan Freemasons Lodge (No. 11) held a raffle and raised $1500 for Rainbow Kids of Sheboygan County. Rainbow Kids is a nonprofit that supports children and families that are going through difficult life situations such as a death or divorce. Wisconsin Rapids Freemasons Lodge (No. 128) has sponsored a local Cub Scout Pack for the last 4 years with the highlight event always hosting the Scouts Pinewood Derby. Two State Patrol “Emergency Jump Kits” Presented by Freemasons in Tomah

By Rich Rygh Two “Emergency Jump Kits” were presented to officers Sam Footer and Christopher Czarnik of the Wisconsin State Patrol preceding the Tom Tourville Interstate Table Lodge on March 9th, at the Tomah Masonic Center. Each kit contains a fire suppression tool and an AED Defibrillator.  The goal is to place a kit in every State Patrol car in the state of Wisconsin. In rural areas, State Patrol Officers are often the first on the scene of an emergency.

Community Cultural Celebration at La Crosse Masonic Center 

The La Crosse Masonic Center hosted a community cultural celebration on February 10th. The La Crosse Area Chinese Association celebrated the Year of the Dragon with musical performances, comedy, dance performances, folk songs, zodiac presentations, and an appearance of a dragon (as pictured above). Over 100 people attended the hour-long show and over 150 attended the following banquet. Freemasons from Frontier-Badger Lodge in La Crosse generously donated a portable Fire Suppression Tool to the French Island Fire Department. This advanced extinguisher can be swiftly deployed in homes to slow down fires. By pulling the pin and throwing it into the burning structure, the device releases an aerosol fire suppression solution, granting firefighters and first responders extra time. Three Crivitz Freemasons attended a fundraiser for Healing Patriots on February 2nd and presented a check from their Lodge for $500.00. The two day event was held at the Drees Community Center in Peshtigo. Healing Patriots is a nonprofit group of volunteers dedicated to helping veterans and first responders open up about their struggles with PTSD and their mental health issues resulting from trauma received from their jobs. “Thursday Night at the Rite” filmed at Madison Valley 

On January 28, 2024 the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction film crew was at the Wisconsin Masonic Center filming the 20th degree. Cameras, lights, and sound system were brought to the Center from Massachusetts for this professional filming. In all, it took five hours to film the 1 hour and 15 minute degree. 22nd annual “Robert Burns Table Lodge” 

Lake Freemasons Lodge (No. 189) hosted its 22nd annual “Robert Burns Table Lodge” on January 25th, at the Lake Masonic Center in Milwaukee featuring PGM Donald W. Hensiak’s famous Haggis.  It was an evening of great food and fellowship celebrating the legacy of Brother Robert Burns.  PGM Paul T. Knuth Brewing Company (a micro brew in Ripon), held the grand opening celebration for their new building on February 17, 2024. Part of the grand opening was, at owner David Knuth’s request, a “Steintossen competition” which was hosted by the Brothers of Prairie View Freemasons Lodge, also in Ripon. James M. Hays Freemasons Lodge No. 331 answered the call this past holiday season by the United States Marines who organize the “Toys for Tots” drive. The Brethren of the Lodge collectively raised over $2,000 to make sure that children in their community had a present at Christmastime. In November and December 2023, our Valley of Milwaukee held our second annual collection of items to be donated to Street Angels Milwaukee Outreach to benefit and support Milwaukee’s homeless community. District 1 Masons recently distributed stuffed animals donated by PetSmart to the Iron River First Responders and Iron River Fire Department. District 1 Masons donated approximately 30 stuffed animals to the pediatric department nurses at Essentia Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota. The stuffed animals were donated by PetSmart and distributed by Freemasons of Wisconsin. This is the second year of the project. Sheboygan Freemasons raise $1,500 for Rainbow Kids

Sheboygan Freemasons Lodge (No. 11) held a raffle and raised $1500 for Rainbow Kids of Sheboygan County. Wisconsin Rapids Freemasons Lodge (No. 128) has sponsored a local Cub Scout Pack for the last 4 years with the highlight event always hosting the Scouts Pinewood Derby. Two State Patrol “Emergency Jump Kits” Presented by Freemasons in Tomah

By Rich Rygh Two “Emergency Jump Kits” were presented to officers Sam Footer and Christopher Czarnik of the Wisconsin State Patrol preceding the Tom Tourville Interstate Table Lodge on March 9th, at the Tomah Masonic Center. Each kit contains a fire suppression tool and an AED Defibrillator.  The goal is to place a kit in every State Patrol car in the state of Wisconsin. In rural areas, State Patrol Officers are often the first on the scene of an emergency.

Community Cultural Celebration at La Crosse Masonic Center 

The La Crosse Masonic Center hosted a community cultural celebration on February 10th. The La Crosse Area Chinese Association celebrated the Year of the Dragon with musical performances, comedy, dance performances, folk songs, zodiac presentations, and an appearance of a dragon (as pictured above). Freemasons from Frontier-Badger Lodge in La Crosse generously donated a portable Fire Suppression Tool to the French Island Fire Department. This advanced extinguisher can be swiftly deployed in homes to slow down fires. By pulling the pin and throwing it into the burning structure, the device releases an aerosol fire suppression solution, granting firefighters and first responders extra time. Three Crivitz Freemasons attended a fundraiser for Healing Patriots on February 2nd and presented a check from their Lodge for $500.00. The two day event was held at the Drees Community Center in Peshtigo. “Thursday Night at the Rite” filmed at Madison Valley 

On January 28, 2024 the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction film crew was at the Wisconsin Masonic Center filming the 20th degree. Cameras, lights, and sound system were brought to the Center from Massachusetts for this professional filming. In all, it took five hours to film the 1 hour and 15 minute degree. 22nd annual “Robert Burns Table Lodge” 

Lake Freemasons Lodge (No. 189) hosted its 22nd annual “Robert Burns Table Lodge” on January 25th, at the Lake Masonic Center in Milwaukee featuring PGM Donald W. Hensiak’s famous Haggis.  It was an evening of great food and fellowship celebrating the legacy of Brother Robert Burns.  PGM Paul T. Knuth Brewing Company (a micro brew in Ripon), held the grand opening celebration for their new building on February 17, 2024. Part of the grand opening was, at owner David Knuth’s request, a “Steintossen competition” which was hosted by the Brothers of Prairie View Freemasons Lodge, also in Ripon. James M. Hays Freemasons Lodge No. 331 answered the call this past holiday season by the United States Marines who organize the “Toys for Tots” drive. The Brethren of the Lodge collectively raised over $2,000 to make sure that children in their community had a present at Christmastime. District 1 Masons recently distributed stuffed animals donated by PetSmart to the Iron River First Responders and Iron River Fire Department. District 1 Masons donated approximately 30 stuffed animals to the pediatric department nurses at Essentia Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota. The stuffed animals were donated by PetSmart and distributed by Freemasons of Wisconsin. This is the second year of the project.
