Brother Mark Steckel presents one of two Fire Suppression Tools (FSTs) to Sheriff Jeff Wallace at the Rusk County Emergency Services Committee meeting on March 13th. Other Lodge members present Bob Grunseth, Doug Kueny, and Ken Brown.
Four of these units have been donated to area fire departments by Mystic Tie Lodge (No. 280). These fire departments have excellent response times — but in a rural fire, the Sheriff’s deputy usually is first to get to the fire location.
The Lodge donates these FSTs to the Rusk County Sheriff’s Department in the hopes that they will not be needed, but with the prayer for safe deployment should they ever be needed.
